This series incorporates design elements from MOONSTAR's archives, mainly leather shoes, into a unique sole shape that creates cushioning by flexing the outsole. The simple derby-plain "SUMEN (bare surface)" is a pair that is elegant with its characteristic feather stitching and overlapping patterns, yet comfortable and easy on the feet.

The DUS (Direct Urethane Soling) method of manufacturing is one of the techniques that MOONSTAR has continued to refine in order to produce comfortable shoes.

While most shoe manufacturing methods involve sewing and gluing the upper and sole together, this special manufacturing method directly attaches the sole, resulting in a superior fit.
